Our well-being baby scan forms the first part of any of our packages from 16 weeks plus. It is a traditional 2D baby scan that can be conducted at any stage of your pregnancy after your initial NHS appointment. The well-being scan focuses on the development of your unborn baby and allows us to check growth measurements, foetal movement, weight calculations, establish placenta position, amniotic fluid volume, provide an audible heartbeat trace and identify the position of your baby. It is important to drink 1 litre of water 5 minutes before the scan if less than 20 weeks gestation.
